Dave Breslin

Dr. Dave Breslin is a seasoned educator and leader with over 26 years of experience in independent schools. With degrees from Ohio Wesleyan University (B.A.), Harvard University (M.Ed.), and the University of Georgia (Ph.D.), his expertise spans teaching, curriculum design, professional development, and administrative leadership. Dave’s research focuses on equity in education, and his career highlights include roles as a classroom teacher, athletic director, middle school principal, and head of school. He is passionate about fostering impactful learning experiences and building strong school communities.

A celebrated athlete and coach, Dave led five lacrosse teams to Virginia state championships and is a member of both the Ohio Wesleyan University and New Jersey Lacrosse Halls of Fame. He continues to give back through community service and mentorship, serving on the board of Academic Opportunities in America and as a Harvard admissions ambassador. Whether in the classroom, on the field, or in leadership, Dave exemplifies excellence, innovation, and a deep commitment to education.
