Garrett Rogers is a passionate math educator with over a decade of teaching experience, holding a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Troy University and a master’s in Applied Mathematics from Florida Atlantic University. From 7th grade math to Calculus 3, he has taught a wide range of courses and has a gift for breaking down complex concepts into understandable lessons. A lifelong fan of science fiction and fantasy, Garrett spends his free time immersed in movies, games, and running a Star Wars-themed D&D campaign that’s been going strong for over three years.

What truly inspires Garrett is seeing students grow in confidence and discovering their own abilities—something he’s been drawn to since helping his classmates understand math back in school. He keeps a stack of thank-you cards from former students in his desk as a reminder of why he teaches. One of his greatest influences was Adam Roate, a teacher whose passion for learning and belief in his students helped shape Garrett’s own approach to education. With a Rubik’s Cube-solving time of just over a minute and a heart for helping others, Garrett hopes to continue impacting students and future educators for years to come.
