Vivian Lundy
Master-level tutor
Vivian Lundy is a passionate and experienced math tutor with nearly a decade of tutoring under her belt. A graduate of the University of Virginia with a degree in psychology (Class of 2018), Vivian has always had a strong connection to STEM—taking advanced math courses like Calculus II and Differential Equations simply for the joy of learning. Though her professional path leans toward the social sciences, she’s committed to helping students build confidence in math, breaking down barriers for those who may feel left behind or intimidated by the subject. Her tutoring philosophy centers on connection, curiosity, and creating those “aha” moments that reignite a student’s sense of possibility.
In her free time, Vivian enjoys reading, puzzles, caring for her plants, and spending time with her pugs. Whether she’s diving into a new board game or learning more about neurodiversity and educational equity, she’s driven by a love for learning and a desire to help others thrive. She dreams of one day shaping education more broadly—perhaps through school counseling or systemic reform—and brings that same heart to every tutoring session. And as a fun fact: she once breakdanced during halftime at a UVA basketball game—proof that learning (and life) is full of surprises.
