Tutor, Test Prep and Academic Subjects
Adam Chow enjoys spending his free time at the gym, playing sports, and relaxing with his girlfriend and friends. A lifelong math enthusiast, he first honed his skills as Math Tournament Director for the Math Honor Society after four years of active involvement in the club. Graduating #8 in his high school class with a 1510 SAT (including an 800 in math), Adam went on to earn his degree in Statistics and Data Science from the University of Virginia, finishing a semester early. His favorite teacher was his high school Latin teacher, with whom he shared a unique six-year learning journey that left a lasting impact on his approach to education.
Adam loves tutoring math because it allows him to pass along the tips and tricks that helped him, making the subject both approachable and enjoyable for students. Professionally, he’s eager to deepen his knowledge in machine learning and AI to stay ahead in an ever-evolving field, with a long-term dream of working in professional baseball analytics and even winning a World Series with a team. Inspired most by his parents’ resilience and work ethic, Adam strives to bring the same determination to his career and tutoring. And while most of his friends don’t know it, he’s also an excellent cook who enjoys surprising people with his skills in the kitchen.
