Gray Kulow

Gray Kulow is a multidisciplinary tutor and artist who thrives on helping students gain confidence in even the most challenging subjects. A former MESA student at Albemarle High School, Gray studied business at the University of Virginia before transferring to NYU to pursue theatre and philosophy. Their diverse academic background, combined with experience in cognitive brain training, gives them a unique ability to connect with students across disciplines. Outside of tutoring, Gray finds joy in writing and making music—always seeking new ways to express and understand the self.

Inspired by honesty, vulnerability, and the transformative power of education, Gray brings creativity, patience, and real-world relevance into their sessions. Whether guiding a student through difficult material or working toward becoming a certified yoga instructor, Gray is passionate about fostering personal growth and comfort in learning. One of their proudest moments? Being credited as a lyricist for an off-Broadway dinner theatre production in NYC—a perfect reflection of their belief that learning and creativity go hand in hand.
